New and Unique Technology

Laser Engineering, Inc. is proud to bring to our customers the latest in technology’s advances. The Nidek UniPulse™ CO2 laser is the only device offered to today’s surgeon with two exciting new advances. Flat Beam Profile and user selectable UniPulse™. The Flat Beam has set a new standard for CO2 lasers. Uniform energy distribution to tissue eliminates “hot spots” associated with conventional lasers. Targeted tissues can now be evenly ablated without leaving furrows of disease behind the laser path. This is extremely important to ensure complete destruction of the pathology. (Insert graphic illustrating the difference) The UniPulse™ Mode is designed for flexibility while pulsing the laser at high frequencies. The settings are easy for the operator to change while allowing the surgeon a wide range of tissue effects. With five UniPulse™ settings for each watt setting, tissue effects can range from haemostatic to char-free. These varieties of tissue effects are ideal for a number of applications especially for laparoscopy and ENT.
